I originally purchased McCormick's Steakhouse Seasoning Grinder at one of the grocery stores a while back. Since then I have not been able to find it anywhere locally, so I was happy to find it on Amazon.
It is a great all around seasoning for steaks and burgers, chicken, baked potatoes and eggs. The ingredients as listed on the bottle are: black, pink and green peppercorns, red pepper, sea salt, garlic, onion, parsley and paprika.
The pepper is not overwhelming, though. The only down side is having to purchase six 6 at a time on Amazon -- especially since each bottle goes a long way.
The taste is delectable, very spicy and a somewhat pungent I scatter the grinder on my beans, meat, pizza, pasta, etc.
It reinforces the flavour of the meal so much so that sometimes i find it difficult to stop eating it. I get strung out on it. However, because i live in hot, very humid weather tropical islands , the content of the spice get sticky over time so that the grinder doesn't pour it out well.
What i dos is take the cap off, clearing it out and put it out in the sunlight together with the spices.
I love fresh ground pepper so try different types. Found this one and use it on everything. Great on salads or plain cottage cheese.
I am a pretty good cook, but I honestly HATE cooking because I hate spending a lot of time in the kitchen and I don't like using a lot of different items, especially if those items tend to expire or go badly quickly.
But with some extra virgin olive olive oil and this product on a plain fish fillet, chicken breast or thighs, or steak, put this on your electric grill or in your oven on broil for a few minutes and you've finished your mail dish.
You don't even need to add salt! Now make some plain white rice with a little butter or "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter," if you or your cholesterol level prefer, maybe some baked potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes with a little fresh chopped cilantro or parsley in it, steamed broccoli with a little salt and butter, tossed salad, garlic bread--whatever side dishes you like.
Then make a simple dessert check out the jell-o pudding website for some great sugar-free, fat-free recipes. Even if you can't cook, you'll have your dinner guests thinking you can!
Another tip: Double the cooked portion of your dinner and pop it in the freezer in an airtight storage bag or Tupperware dish and you can just re-heat in the microwave one evening later in the month when you are too tired too cook or you had to work late.

It says 4 oz. Went here expecting a larger bottle since the only oz listed is 4. This blend of spices and extracts has suprisingly amount of flavor depth unlike many of other popular steak seasonings.
Yet it's subtle enough that it enhances instead of overwhelming and covers up the meat's natural flavor. You will definitly tast the inviting aroma of the spices in your first chew, but immidiatly afterward the flavor of the meat sips out and takes over.
This has absolutly become my favorite seasoning for steaks and meat in general. It even kinda works nicely on fish!
The bad news is that for some reason, this paticular McCormick seasoning grinder has been disappearing from the shelfs of popular grocery chains all over.
Yet when I went to McCormick's website it doesn't appear that they've stopped making these. So it's quite a mystery why it has gotten so hard to find these days.
Currently the only somewhat reliable way to obtain these is through the internet and buy them in small packs of 6.
And chance are, once you've gotten a tast of this, you WILL start buying them in packs! This is by far my favorite seasoning for any type of beef.
I use it on steaks and burgers all the time. Far better than the Montreal Seasoning they sell. You can really tell the difference with the grinder, the seasoning is very fresh every time.
So sad this has been discontinued!! Now you have to pay a pretty penny to get it. I'm sooooo bummed out!
